Google Expands Antigravity Agentic Platform to Enterprise Subscriptions

Google officially announced the expansion of its Google Antigravity agentic development platform to enterprise customers on August 20, 2026. The platform, which has grown into a mature developer harness since its initial introduction, is now fully integrated into eligible Gemini Enterprise app subscriptions. This update allows corporate engineering teams to build, deploy, and manage autonomous agentic workflows within Google Cloud's enterprise security and data privacy boundaries.
The move marks Google's first major commercialization step for the Antigravity ecosystem, which includes the desktop agent orchestrator Antigravity 2.0, the terminal-based Antigravity CLI, and the Antigravity SDK for programmatic developer access.
Key Enterprise Features
The enterprise rollout introduces several capabilities designed for team-scale deployment:
- Administrative and Spend Controls: Administrators can manage licenses, set usage quotas, and control API spend across projects.
- Enterprise-Grade Security: All data processed by Antigravity agents adheres to Google Cloud's strict enterprise-grade compliance, including zero data retention for training.
- VS Code IDE Extensions: The release ships with official extensions to integrate agentic loops directly into popular developer environments.
The enterprise platform is co-optimized with the newly released Gemini 3.7 Flash model, which serves as the primary engine for multi-step tasks and background execution loops. By bringing Antigravity under the Gemini Enterprise umbrella, Google aims to compete directly with enterprise agent platforms from Microsoft and Salesforce.
